Using oleic acid as a stabilizer and paraffin as a reducing agent, CdSe quantum dots with uniform size were synthesized via the organic phase method, and the synthesized quantum dots were transferred to the aqueous phase through thioglycolic acid. The interaction patterns between CdSe quantum dots and several proteins (enzymes) with different structures were investigated. The study found that after interacting with bovine serum albumin and chymotrypsin, the fluorescence intensity of quantum dots modified with thioglycolic acid significantly increased.
